Single-Head Split Systems

Single-head systems cool or heat a single room or open-plan area from one indoor unit connected to one outdoor compressor. They're simple, cost-effective, easy to service, and appropriate for most residential applications — bedrooms, living rooms, home offices. Sizing matters: 2.5–3.5kW for bedrooms, 4–5kW for medium living areas, 6–8kW for large open-plan spaces.

Multi-Head Split Systems

One outdoor compressor, multiple indoor heads — cooling several rooms simultaneously without multiple outdoor units cluttering the exterior of the home. Multi-head systems are popular in Noosa's prestige market where rooflines and aesthetics matter. They cost more upfront but deliver better aesthetics and often better energy performance than multiple single-head systems.

We identify this upfront and include any required circuit work in the quote — not as an add-on surprise after the unit is on the wall.
