Power Point Installation — Noosa, Hinterland & Sunshine Coast

Additional power points, USB outlets and outdoor GPOs installed properly. Servicing Noosa, Cooroy, Pomona, Tewantin and Gympie.

Power points are one of the most common electrical requests we get — and also one of the most commonly done badly by cowboys running extension leads through walls. Every new power point we install gets a dedicated run to the switchboard or a properly rated spur from an existing circuit, tested, labelled and compliant. Ultralec handles power point installations across Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Tewantin, Cooroy, Pomona, Eumundi and Gympie.

USB Outlets — Worth Installing

Bedside USB-C outlets eliminate the adaptor and charger clutter. A double power point with integrated USB-A and USB-C ports is a simple, clean solution that most people wish they'd added earlier. We install these as direct replacements for standard double GPOs — no extra wiring needed in most cases, just a smarter fitting.

Outdoor Power Points

A weatherproof power point beside the BBQ, near the pool equipment, at the shed door, or in the garden changes how you use your outdoor space. We use IP-rated weatherproof outlets mounted in proper outdoor enclosures on RCD-protected circuits — so they're safe in Queensland's wet seasons and coastal humidity.

Workshop and Shed Wiring

Sheds and workshops need proper electrical infrastructure — not a single 10A circuit running from the house on an extension lead. We install sub-boards with multiple circuits, 15A or 20A outlets for power tools, RCD protection, and adequate lighting for a functional workspace. Three-phase power is available for serious workshop machinery.

Power Point Coverage

We install power points across Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, Peregian Springs, Cooroy, Pomona, Eumundi, Yandina and Gympie. Single-point additions are usually completed within a couple of hours; larger jobs are quoted after a site visit.
